Flathead Dodge and Plymouth 6-into-2 Headers. These "block hugger" style headers have been used by customers with coupes, sedans, hot rod roadsters and early Power Wagon trucks. These headers fit a variety of early applications for the "short-block" 23" Dodge and Plymouth flathead engines. They work with the factory intake manifold as well as all popular aftermarket intakes. Clears the stock oil pump and fuel pump (stock fuel pump requires an "L" connection to route the fuel line down and away from the headers). Features include:
- 1.625" mandrel-bent primary tubes
- 2.5" collectors with welded 2.5", 3-bolt collector flanges
- 3/8" thick header flanges, precision CADed and waterjet-cut in-house at Hanksville
- Fully TIG-welded
- Available in mild steel or stainless steel
- Shipped in bare metal, ready for you to paint or coat
We have offered these headers since '06; in fact, this was one of the first header designs that we developed when we first opened Hanksville. While other companies have quit building headers for these engines, we still make these the same way we always have - mandrel-bent rather than the other companies' crush bends, TIG-welded for the best appearance rather than MIG-welded, available in mild steel or stainless, and built for each individual customer.
