The Most Powerful Cayenne? With its Leistung/HHR Exhaust!
I had the most difficult client – Kent. Every time we shipped him something it wasn’t good enough, tiny minute details that he didn’t like and I was loosing my patience. We forgot to block his email address and he kept buying our products for his 957 CTT, but over the course of a year, we became good friends. Oddly, even after a hundred phone calls and emails I still have yet to meet him in person – I think he may be a figment of my imagination.
His Cayenne over the years has received a "few" upgrades - cold air intakes, Turbo S intake plenum and throttle body, 3” downpipes (primary cat delete), 3" secondary cat bypass, 3” mid section, 3” SR1 rear muffler and twin dual 3” tips. Coupled with an ECU tune and his Cayenne may be the most powerful Cayenne Turbo in the world running on stock turbos – making 710HP and 770 ft. lbs. of torque on the dyno - that’s seems like a stone throw away from a Veyron.
Kents Cayenne is truly a monster and one that will give most exotics a run for their money, F430, 997TT just to name a few with a power to weight ratio of 7.46 pounds per horsepower - that's not shabby considering that a 997TT is 7.47 pounds per horsepower. The most astounding aspect is what nearly 800 pound feet of torque feels like and that the stock drivetrain can handle the punishment. The Cayenne is built well with only two major mechanical limitations – the plastic coolant tubes and the rear drive shaft carrier bearing, which can be upgraded to the Vertex bearing (available here on our site!) to eliminate the problem by accelerated wear with high powered trucks.
Kent is now added a methanol injection system and we will keep everyone apprised of that. In the meantime, check-out this awesome video! http://vimeo.com/45021207
